Power in Vigil:


There should be times if you call yourself a Christian, and you want to move up, you want to be a favorite of God, a divine favorite , a divine champion that you need to put your sleep away, stay awake, pray and wait upon the Lord. 




There are times when certain things that are important; for example important decisions are to be made that you need to forget sleep and pray to God. 


Most situations in our lives may require us to forget sleep and stay or keep vigil so that we may move up to fulfill our destinies on earth.


 It may be a time of critical need or crises in life and there is a need to pray through over situations of life. 


It may be a time of corporate prayer vigil as a family or with a group of believers or with others in your church, when such opportunity arises, you should take advantage of it and stay awake through the night to seek the face of the Lord. 


Hebrews 11:6 says “6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. 


Our God is still a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. He is the same yesterday, today and forever more.

Course 5  Topic 4 CDP Vigils: The CDP has daily vigils, monthly vigils and occasional vigils as the case may be for those who are regular projects, there is daily vigils which is enjoined in your daily prayers which may be nine minutes, ten minutes, fifteen minutes or more or less that is, your midnight prayer at 12 Am, Divine Mercy prayer at 3Am, and the Lord's chaplet prayer at 4am. These are regular and daily vigils of every member of the Project. The monthly vigils every month is a vigil held across the new month call triumphal entry vigil into a new month this starts at about 11pm or 12am till 4am the next day every last day of the month. The CDP also have occasional vigils such as Gog and Magog 4 nights, round table with the Holy Spirit 3 nights, first Jericho of the year 7 nights and second Jericho of the year 7 nights, these gives us a total of 30 Vigils every year including Gethsemane Watch which happens every night of Holy Thursday.

 Course 5 Topic 6 Benefits of Vigils Night Vigil is a booster that helps prayers to be quickly answered by God who sees every sacrifice made in his name. 1. Night vigil strengthens our spirit man (Galatians 5:25). 2. Night vigil strengthens our faith (James 2:24). 3. Night vigil gives us an upper hand in spiritual warfare (1 Peter 5:8). 4. Night vigil brings supernatural encounters with God through the Holy Spirit and his angels (Joel 2:28). 5. Night vigil gives you a good time to hear warnings from God without distractions (Job 33:14-18). 6. Night Vigil fortifies our relationship with God. 7. Night Vigil lead to quicken answers after praying    Night vigil is not required to live as a Christian but it is highly recommended. As Christians we face the most spiritual battles because we are the biggest targets for Satan and his kingdom (Revelation 12:17). So we must be vigilant and and pray at all times in the spirit (Ephesians 6:18).
